Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy
Effective date: September 29, 2026
1. Scope
This Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy ("Policy") applies to paid subscriptions to the Primod service ("Service") bought directly from Prime Modality Teknoloji A.Ş. ("Primod", "we", "us"), whether in the Primod app or under an order form or invoice. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
Subscriptions bought through a cloud marketplace are covered by Section 8.
2. Business customers only
The Service is offered only to businesses and other organisations for use in their trade, business or profession. It is not sold to consumers. By buying a subscription you confirm that you are acting on behalf of a business or organisation and not as a consumer.
If mandatory consumer protection law nevertheless applies to a purchase, nothing in this Policy limits the rights that law gives you.
3. Evaluate on the Free plan first
The Free plan costs $0, has no end date and asks for no payment details. It includes runtime detection on one Kubernetes cluster of up to 2 nodes and posture management for one cloud account, as described on our pricing page.
We ask every customer to evaluate the Service on the Free plan, or in a trial we agree in writing, before buying a paid plan. Because you can test the Service before paying, paid fees are non-refundable except as set out in Section 7.
4. Subscription terms and renewal
Paid plans are billed in US dollars, either month to month or annually in advance, at the price shown when you buy or in your order form.
Subscriptions renew automatically for a period of the same length at the end of each term, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of a price change, and the new price applies from your next renewal.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription at any time from the billing page in the app or by emailing support@primod.io. Cancellation stops the next renewal. It takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you keep access to your paid plan until then.
- Monthly plans: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current monthly period. We do not refund partial months.
- Annual plans paid in advance: cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual term. We do not give pro-rata refunds for the unused part of the term, except where Section 7 or applicable law requires it.
- Contracts with a committed term (for example an Enterprise order form) can only be ended early as the contract allows.
When a paid subscription ends, your account moves to the Free plan limits. Runtime evidence older than the Free plan's retention period is then deleted as described in the Terms.
6. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect when you confirm them and are charged as shown at checkout or in your order form.
- Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. You keep the higher plan until then, and we do not refund or credit the difference for the rest of the current term.
After a downgrade takes effect, the lower plan's limits apply, including its retention period. Evidence older than that period is deleted.
7. When we do refund
We will refund you in these cases:
- Billing errors: a duplicate charge, or a charge we made in error. Please tell us within 60 days of the charge.
- We end the Service: if we discontinue the Service or terminate your subscription for our own convenience, we refund the prepaid fees for the unused part of your term, pro rata.
- Material failure: if the paid Service fails to perform materially as described in its documentation, you notify us in writing, and we do not fix the failure within 30 days, you may terminate the affected subscription and we refund the prepaid fees for the unused part of the term, pro rata.
- Where the law requires it.
Refunds go to the original payment method, normally within 30 days of our approval. We do not refund bank, card or currency conversion fees charged by your own payment provider.
Apart from these cases, fees are non-refundable. We may still offer a refund or credit at our discretion; doing so once does not oblige us to do it again.
8. Cloud marketplace purchases
If you buy Primod through a cloud marketplace, such as AWS Marketplace or Microsoft Marketplace, the marketplace provider bills you. Cancellation, refunds and billing disputes for that purchase follow the marketplace provider's terms and refund process, and the agreement you accepted when you bought, such as a marketplace standard contract or a private offer.
We do not refund marketplace charges directly. If you need a refund, contact us at support@primod.io and we will work with the marketplace provider on your request.
9. Failed payments
If a payment fails or an invoice is overdue, we will notify you. If an undisputed amount is still unpaid 14 days after that notice, we may suspend paid features and move the account to the Free plan limits until the amount is paid, as described in the Terms. Suspension does not cancel amounts already due.
10. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank or card issuer. We will investigate and correct genuine errors under Section 7.
If you start a chargeback or payment reversal, we may suspend paid features while it is open. If the chargeback is resolved in our favour, or concerned a charge that was valid under this Policy, the amount stays due and we may recover reasonable fees we incurred because of it.
11. Taxes
Prices do not include taxes unless stated. Where we refund a fee, we also refund the tax we collected on it, if the tax can be reclaimed.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The version in force when your current paid term started applies to that term; changes apply from your next renewal unless the law requires otherwise. We will post changes on this page and update the effective date.
